This round live edge dining table set was designed and custom made entirely by Earl Nesbitt. The table has a highly-figured bookmatched top made from red mulberry. The inset custom fit glass inlay showcases the live edge and solid wenge base. Dimensions: 46" x 30" tall. The chairs have a solid wenge frame, curly maple bent laminate slats and solid curly maple seats. Hand fit mortise and tenon joinery throughout. Dimensions: 19” x 22” x 52 1/2” tall. Earl completed a year long apprenticeship in 1990 with a mastercraftsman in New Hope, Pennsylvania. That award winning apprenticeship program as well as the rich history of furniture making in the New Hope area including George Nakashima and other artists contributes to Earl's work as he showcases the beauty of natural wood in each piece. Durability is of the utmost importance: this slab dining room table is built to last for generations. This along with limited production insures the collectibility of this piece which has Earl's hand carved signature and is archived to authenticate his original design and insure the customer's investment.
