This extraordinary live edge dining table was made from rare Sonoran honey mesquite slabs from northern Mexico. The table has a bookmatched mesquite top with an image of a bird in flight that was revealed when Earl was sanding. The mesquite slabs were decaying wood rescued from an arroyo. The base is hand sculpted alder. Dimensions: 82” x 42” x 30” tall. The eight custom made chairs have solid walnut frames, mesquite bent laminate slats and live edge mesquite seats. Hand fit mortise and tenon joinery throughout. Dimensions: 19” x 22” x 52 1/2” tall. The chairs are very comfortable. Original design with hand carved signature by Earl Nesbitt.
