This special live edge dining table was made from rare Sonoran honey mesquite slabs from northern Mexico. This truly is a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture. The bookmatched mesquite top has an image of a bird in flight at one end. The image was revealed when Earl was sanding. The mesquite slabs were decaying wood rescued from an arroyo. The base is hand sculpted alder. Dimensions: 82” x 42” x 30” tall. The eight matching custom made chairs have solid walnut frames, mesquite bent laminate slats and live edge mesquite seats. Hand fit mortise and tenon joinery throughout. Dimensions: 19” x 22” x 52 1/2” tall. The chairs are very comfortable. Original design with hand carved signature by Earl Nesbitt.
